Policies and Terms of Service

o	Internet Services of New England is chartered to provide the best
	possible internet access services at a reasonable price.

o	Bills are sent to customers on the 4th of the month.  The bill 
	covers any past due amounts and charges for the PREVIOUS MONTH.
	Payments are due on the 13th of the month, with a delinquency 
	notice sent on the 16th.  If the bill is not paid by the 26th, the
	account is subject to disconnection.
 
o	Restoration of service on a standard dialup disconnected account 
	will require FULL payment of past due balances and a $10 
	reconnection fee.  While disconnected, an account will be charged 
	the $5.00 late fee AND a $3.00 mailbox maintenance fee.  Users 
	will be responsible for resonable collection and attorney fees if 
	required to collect a past due account.

o	Non-standard accounts that are disconnected (colocation/web only, 
	etc), have a different schedule of charges that will be sent upon
	request.

o	Delinquent accounts 60 days in arrears will be referred to a
	collection agency. Upon payment, IN FULL, the user must post a
	deposit to restore service.  Accounts sent to collection will be
	charged 1/3 of their balance COLLECTION FEE when sent to the
	agency.  Resonable lawyers fees and collection agency fees, as
	well as interest, will be added to the account.

o	Accounts 60 days late, will be charged a $15/month late fee.  If
	payment is made in full within one billing ctcle, late fees will
	be removed.

o	If an account becomes delinquent, and any payments were made by a 
	credit card or auto check draft, ISONE reserves the right to charge 
	any delinquent amounts to said credit card or check draft account to 
	cure the delinquency.

o	Installation service calls are $25. If a user requests service
	and an installation service call, and cancels service within a
	three month initial period, the service calls will be billed at
	a rate of $25 PER CALL.  

	Additional service calls are billed at the then prevailing rates, 
	available upon request.

o 	If the user selects the 'auto-check' feature, checks will be
	printed on the user's checking account and deposited on the 2nd
	business day of the month.  User will receive a notice of said charges
	on the 3rd business day of the month or so.

	Credit card payments will be processed the 2nd or 3rd business day 
	after the month closes.

o	Accounts may be cancelled at any time.  To close an account requires
	a WRITTEN letter or EMAIL.  If sent by EMAIL, an acknoledgment email
	will be sent to the users account or a forward address supplied 
	by the user.  If you do NOT receive an acknowledgement email, your
	message was NOT received and you will continue to be billed.  
	PHONE cancellation is NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Commecrcial web or storage accounts
	require 30-days notice to close the accounts.

o	Accounts being paid at an annual rate, require a 30-days cancellation 
	due to processing costs.  Accounts closed without 30-days notice will 
	be charged 30-days extra services.

o	ISONE, as a convienence, will renew domain name services and bill through
	to the user account.

o	If a closed account is used by anyone, to read email, or to login for any 
	service using the final password for the account, the account will be 
	REOPENNED and charges will continue.  It is the responsibility of the user
	to stop all access to their account from their computers.

o	Users will not post or receive any illegal or pornographic materials
	using an ISONE account.  Users will honor any covenants or restrictions
	placed on users by other services they access through ISONE.  ISONE
	cannot and will not be responsible for access and violations by users
	here or on other services accessed through our systems and networks.

o	Sessions will be disconnected after 20 minutes of inactivity (This
	does not include full-time accounts.  The user may login again to 
	continue  (Users may not run activity creating programs to override the 
	20 minute inactivity counter).  

o	Multiple simultaneous access dialups to the same account is not
	allowed. If you need to dial in to the ISONE network
	simultaneously more than once, you must purchase a second dialup
	account or the right for multiple dialins.  If this policy is not
	adhered too, either or all simultaneous logins might be
	DISCONNECTED from the network at any time and you will be charged a $10
	setup charge to create a new dialin account.

o	ISONE will remove old/read email over 120 days old from its servers. 
	This will not affect NEW emails.  A notice will be placed in the
	users account showing email removed.  The emails removed will NOT
	be recoverable.  Please see the web page:

o	Users will not store email on ISONE servers.  Users are expected 
	to download their NEW email on a regular basis.  If a user email 
	account exceeds 4meg of space, ISONE will have the right to
	remove the email exceeding said size.  This policy can be amended 
	on a user-by-user basis.

o	ISONE is in no way responsible for lost files or internet tranmission
	errors not attributable to ISONE equipment.  The internet is a 
	distributed system of thousands of computers.  Failures at any point
	not in the ISONE network are not our responsibility, although we will
	strive to track down and report failures at or on other networks.
	If other network problems occur, please email a description to 
	problems@isone.com and we will track down the problem.

o	ISONE Internet SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS, AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. NO 
	WARRANTEES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
    	THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE MADE 
	WITH RESPECT TO ISONE OR ANY INFORMATION OR SOFTWARE THEREIN. THIS NO 
	WARRANTY EXPRESSLY INCLUDES ANY REIMBURSEMENT FOR LOSSES OF INCOME DUE TO
    	DISRUPTION OF SERVICE BY ISONE OR ITS PROVIDERS.

o	Neither ISONE nor its Information Providers are responsible for any 
	damages arising from User's use of ISONE or by User's inability 
	to use ISONE's service.

o	ISONE standard account charges are based upon standard accepted
  	use of the account.  If a user exceeds these standards, the
	account charges may be increased or the account cancelled at
	ISONE's discretion. 

o	The customer is COMPLETELY responsible for any and all
	telecommunication charges they accrue.  Under no circumstances
	will ISONE reimburse or refund telephone line or call charges. 
	Please verify our phone numbers are local to your calling area.

o	ISONE provides FREE NON-COMMERCIAL web services for customers.  A
	user homepage MUST be non-commercial or commericaial rates will
	apply.  Instructions for using our web services and FTP are available
	upon request.

o	ISONE does not provide technical support for enduser applications. 
	We will be glad to help in installing or verifying these programs
	for an small hourly fee.  Please call the software manufacturer
	for installation/execution help.   Technical support required for
	VALID connection to the internet are included in your subscription
	price.  Technical Support pages can be found on our website to
	help with the installation of many internet applications.
